About the Author#

Jen Schneider is a community college educator who lives, writes, and works in small spaces throughout Pennsylvania, although she mostly spends her days on West Coast time.

She writes poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction, with an emphasis on hybrid forms. She loves words, experimental poetry, and the change of seasons. She’s also a fan of late nights, crossword puzzles, and compelling underdogs, with independent bookstores and small presses at the top of her list of favorite things.

She served as the 2022 Montgomery County Poet Laureate (Pennsylvania).

Jen has also published poetry with us in Issue 14, November 2022 and in Issue 17, April 2023.
