Güliz Mutlu
Birthday Arrival Nylon

Artist’s Statement
She unwraps the package with trembling fingers: a nylon balloon copy of herself, gleamingly perfect, its surface reflecting perfection. She knows all too well that it’s both a gift and a question: who’s real, and who has a heart?
Sea Foam

Artist’s Statement
He glides past like sunlight on restless water, every glance a spark that disappears before it can burn. In an instant, he’s gone, leaving only the sea foam
