Artist’s Statement

A. Morgan McKendry’s practice treats images as living signals: layered, recursive, and charged, drawing from archives, networked culture, and ritual systems. Moving between visual art, sound-adjacent work, and poetic structure, McKendry builds image environments that behave like spells: iterative, symbolic, and responsive to context. Their work explores transmission, memory, and intimacy under conditions of mediation.
