Glow Within

Artist’s Statement
Desperate to survive in a dark world that forgets its most radiant stars, it’s easy to let that darkness seep into our being. To let go of dreams once held so dearly is the greatest sorrow we must live with. However, we must hold on. Regardless of rejection or ridicule, let yourself be more than your survival. Keep those dreams alive, and let yourself glow in your rawest form. Even if at the end of the day all that’s left is a little flicker of the grand flame you used to be, breathe in fresh air to recuperate what brings you joy. It’s as simple as that, so let your heart take over your mind. Be a tangled mess that only you understand. Or let others in and find that you are more than you thought others see. Because in the end, don’t we all glow within?
