Artist’s Statement
The Rider Bicycle Playing Cards have been in continuous production since 1887. This photographic collage is comprised of a Six of Diamonds that was found in the street and is similar to another series of a Six of Spades, which was also found in the street. Why I keep finding playing cards representing the number six is a mystery to me.

Kevin Flynn is a photographer and visual artist from Oakland, California. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from the Aesthetic Studies Program at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
