Artist’s Statement #

The photograph was captured using an iPhone XR, showcasing the powerful capabilities of modern smartphone technology in the realm of artistic expression. The decision to convert the image to black and white in Lightroom was deliberate, as it allowed me to emphasize the interplay of light and shadow, enhancing the emotional resonance of the composition.

The choice of equipment and editing techniques reflects my belief in the accessibility of art creation, breaking away from traditional norms. This piece seeks to demonstrate that profound artistic moments can be captured and conveyed using everyday tools, challenging preconceived notions about the need for specialized equipment.
