Artist’s Statement #

A retrenchment from a stint as a graphic designer prompted a reflection on what art I want to create and what being an artist means to me, as someone without formal education in creative work (having been an engineering graduate and economic policy government worker). This piece captures my sense of discomfort under the gaze and judgement of others.
