Take a Pumpion, pare it, and cut it in thin slices, dip it in beaten Eggs and Herbs shred small, and fry it till it be enough, then lay it into a Pie with Butter, Raisins, Currans, Sugar and Sack, and in the bottom some sharp Apples; when it is baked, butter it and serve it in.
The Gentlewoman's Companion

Welcome to our fourteenth and November issue! This issue is a little heavier on prose poetry than we’ve done before, with a number of longer pieces - we’ve wanted more of both.

Overall, I think this issue offers a lively variety of styles and themes, with a few subtle nods to classic Autumn motifs now that Thanksgiving season has arrived (for those of us in the States).

In this issue, we have poetry by:

Rishi Agrawal
Laura Carter
Tamiko Dooley
George Franklin
Maud Lavin
Özge Lena
Eugene Stevenson
R. L. Swihart
Alyssandra Tobin

Prose poetry by:

Candice M. Kelsey
Dana Kinsey
Marc Meierkort
Miranda Michałowski
Tam Nguyen
Jen Schneider
John Sullivan

Creative nonfiction by:

Cynthia Dorfman

And visual art by:

All the best and happy reading,

Matthew Bullen
