Shrill
!shrill, the world screaming
an animal/shredded/
in a steel trap
dead winds stilled:
inverted syntax(airlessly)
smothering
XXChromosomes
muffled by Y-grinning
teeth
gnashing
a childβs shriek in phones wincing
wire[cage] detention
life unruled in fractured families
speaking tongues in dry blood
beneath brd tweets in leafless trees
