Editor's Note 10/21

Give the reader Hell. Stretch the reader.
Martin Amis

We are thrilled to publish the inaugural issue of Red Ogre Review! And we certainly hope the writing stretches your sense of the possible in contemporary fiction and verse.

In this issue, we present prose fiction by Jon Haynes, Emma Jones, and Catherine Potter.

And we present verse by Nia Broomhall, PaweΕ‚ Kuziemski, Julie Lancaster, Kate Potter, Elga SΔ«le, and Anna Ward-Gow.

Given the truly enthusiastic response we’ve had so far, we expect to publish our second issue in the near future.

All the best and happy reading,

Matthew Bullen
Founder & Editor-in-Chief
